PAST PRESENT FUTURE
Backup: Martial Arts
WHO AM I? I'M YOU!
The Chameleon may spend 1 Fortune and 1 scene to don an elaborate and convincing disguise. You must pass a Deceit check but, once you have, your disguise is not questioned unless you are exposed or until you meet a higher ranking enemy. In the event that you are exposed you regain 1 Fortune. You are -2 to that Deceit check if your true face and voice are known by those you're deceiving, or if you are attempting to disguise yourself as a specific person. This is not usable in combat.
Normal Notice checks made to realize the Chameleon is an interloper are made with an additional Negative Die, so long as the disguise doesn't change your gender or species. If that's the case then opponents make Notice checks normally against you, except without the benefit of any conditional bonuses. This does not extend to Boosts, which may be used against you.
PLAY IT CLOSE
The Chameleon may always elect to pass Concealment checks for their weapons if their disguise has passed muster in the scene already.

From the the Saint to Mystique to acupuncture-assisted shapeshifting in movies like Iceman, the man of 1000 faces is such a staple of action films and tv shows that it's rivaled only by spy fiction and penny dreadfuls. It's the easiest way to make your effects instantly more special for not a dime: have another guy stand there and pretend to be Tom Cruise. Can't decide on your Feng Shui character and want to try a high kicking granny, a swinging orangutan sharpshooter, George Peppard? Be all of them in turn.
